Our success is made possible thanks to our incredible volunteers—especially our Front of House team, who serve as greeters, ushers, and Matthews Marketplace Assistants. These dedicated individuals help create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure our patrons have an amazing experience.
Recently, you may have noticed some new faces volunteering at our MainStage productions. We are thrilled to welcome groups of enthusiastic high school students who are joining our volunteer team! These bright, passionate young individuals are eager to assist patrons and contribute to the magic of live theatre.
Our student volunteers help with greeting guests, ushering, and staffing the Marketplace. They volunteer their time for various reasons, from earning service hours to gaining real-world experience. At Matthews Playhouse, we are proud to support these students as they develop empathy, practice leadership, and build a sense of responsibility while giving back to the community.
