Matthews Playhouse board members Michelle Armas, Stephanie Schmitt and Kristen Laatz deliver baby supplies collected by the School of Theatre students.
Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts has a long history of building partnerships with community businesses and local non-profit organizations in the Matthews/Mint Hill and greater Charlotte region.
Last week, Matthews Playhouse board members Michelle Armas, Stephanie Schmitt and Kristen Laatz paid a special visit to one of our non-profit partners, Bright Blessings, to deliver much-needed supplies to support their Bless-A-Baby Program. Our volunteers were greeted by Bright Blessings Executive Director, Tish Henderson, Marketing Director, Chloe Margraves and Hope at the front desk.
We are so thankful to our School of Theatre families and community members who donated new blankets, diapers, clothing, and other critical baby supplies that will be used to support homeless and impoverished babies and their families.
Bright Blessings is a volunteer-led organization working to celebrate and enrich the lives of underserved children in our community. To learn more about them and their Bless-A-Baby program, click here to see a short video. If you would like to help, please click here to see their Amazon Wish List.
