Announcing the Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts 2022-2023 Season!



Our 2022-2023 Season Offers a Mix of Original Works, Theatre for Youth, Timeless Musicals and So Much More!


Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts Executive Director, Sarah Baumgardner, took to Facebook Live today to publicly announce our 2022-2023 Season! This will be the first full season the theatre has produced since the pandemic began, and we can't wait for you to join us!

August 19-28, 2022: "A House is Not a Home" (winner of our 2022 BIPOC Playwrights Festival) Auditions: June 20, 2022 September 23-October 2, 2022: "Princess Fearless" Auditions: July 25, 2022 October 28-30: Haunted Trail ftring a "Not So Spooky" hour & "Full Fright" Auditions: September 16-17, 2022 December 8-18, 2022: "Scrooge! The Musical" Auditions: October 14, 2022 February 24-March 5, 2023 "Seussical Jr." Auditions: January 6, 2023 March 11, 2023 Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Playwrights Festival Staged Readings
