FALL: Classes held the weeks of September 9 - December 19, 2019 (14 classes)
       ***NO CLASS THANKSGIVING WEEK***

WINTER: Classes held the weeks of January 6 - February 13, 2020

SPRING:  Audition for one of the School of Theatre productions.

  • Auditions February 17 or 18
  • Rehearsals for the spring shows February 22 - April 5, 2020
  • Rehearsals will be held: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays until the final week.
  • Performances of the shows the weekend of March 27 or April 3, 2020.

Tuition

$400 for the school year (20 weeks)

$100 production fee to participate in the Spring shows 


Musical Theatre 3

Grades 3 - 6

Tuesdays  6:30 - 7:30pm

Tuition: $400

This class will encourage students to explore their world through ensemble acting, music, and dance. Students will build on activities from musical theatre one and two through creative movement, process drama, and songs. Curriculum will include: how to read and memorize scripts, the audition process, basic dance steps, and basic sight reading skills. These activities help build concentration, confidence, and reading comprehension skills. Students will present for parents in December in the classroom and will perform on stage in the theatre in the spring.

Musical Theatre 4

Grades 4 - 6

Mondays OR Wednesdays  5:00 - 6:30pm

Tuition: $400

This Class is for advanced beginning and intermediate students to learn the fundamental skills of musical theatre in a fun and supportive environment. Students tackle the art of acting, vocal work, choreography, stage directions and stage blocking.  Class will learn how to audition and perform in a musical.

Musical Theatre 5

Grades 6 - 9

Tuesdays OR Wednesdays   6:30 - 8:30pm

Tuition: $400

This Class will begin to build the foundation for performance skills using the P's and C's of acting, singing and dancing. (projection, pronunciation, posture, character, creativity and courage) These classes incorporate scene work, improv, character development, vocal direction and choreography. Actors will work with a choreographer, drama coach and musical director to perfect their performance skills.

Musical Theatre 6

Grades 8 - 12

Thursdays  6:30 - 8:30pm

Tuition: $400

This Class requires a placement audition.  Students will continue to build on the foundation for performance skills using the P's and C's of acting, singing and dancing. Grades 9 - 12

This level is for advanced students seriously considering a future in the arts. Classes are designed to challenge students to strengthen their technique and expand their skill set in musical theatre. Class will perform a Musical Revue for their final class in February.  Class will participate in the School Of Theatre Productions in the spring. 

A placement audition is required for this class.
