Many of our box office services are now automated for your convenience!  Click the buttons below in order to exchange or reprint tickets, without having to wait for a box office representative!​

For tickets to a specific show or event, please visit that show's event page for a link to purchase tickets.

Currently, our box office is not holding standard office hours. 
Call 704-846-8343 option 1 or email boxoffice@matthewsplayhouse.com with any
questions or issues, and a staff person will respond as soon as possible.

  • ​Everyone who enters the theatre must have a ticket, including infants and young children.

  • Ticket prices vary based on the type of show.  Please refer to the individual show pages for specific pricing for that show.

  • All tickets purchased are subject to NC state sales tax (7.25%) and a $3 ticket fee.

  • Definitions for ticket types: ​

    • Senior- is defined as ages 60 and up.

    • Student- is defined as anyone attending a primary K-12 School or Homeschool or College/University.

    • Child- is defined as 12 years of age or under. 

    • Military- is defined as active service members, retired military, veterans, and spouses.

  • Tickets must be paid for when ordering. We accept cash, check, debit and most credit cards.
