Arabian Nights is a captivating theatrical adaptation by Dominic Cooke that brings to life the enchanting tales from the ancient Arabic manuscript One Thousand and One Nights. Set in the exotic world of the Middle East, the play follows the courageous storyteller Scheherazade, who cleverly spins captivating stories to delay her own execution by the tyrannical Sultan Shahryar. Through a tapestry of magical narratives featuring genies, sultans, and fantastical adventures, the play explores themes of love, betrayal, and the power of storytelling. With its rich tapestry of characters and vibrant storytelling, Arabian Nights offers a mesmerizing journey into the heart of Arabian folklore and the enduring power of the imagination.
