We are looking for adults as well as young people ages 10 and up

~ Please come prepared to read from the script and/or participate in a simple improv
~ Generally rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday until the final week
~ You must be available for all performances

Additional Casting Information

 

NOTE:  Children's roles will be cast with actors ages 10 and up. Teenagers will be considered for all the student roles.

 

The below are school students:

Wanda Petronski -  soft spoken child of an immigrant

Peggy Thomas -  attractive, most popular girl in school, powerful

Madeline Reeves - imaginative, playful, Peggy's best friend

Cecile Allen -  well dressed, well spoken, but on the giggly side

Jack Beggles -  fun, smart, motor boat designer

Willie Bounce - a boaster, full of adventure and dares

Jacob Petronski - Wanda's brother  More hardened to life

 

Adult roles:

Miss Mason - 30-40's, the classroom teacher  Compassionate, clear spoken

Shelly Reeves - 40ish, Madeline's mom, Kind, industrious in the face of hard times

Mr. Petronski - 40ish, Wanda's father, a Polish immigrant, speaks in broken English  Hard worker, supports his children

Mr. Svenson - 50-60's, Lives alone on Boggins Heights, Reclusive. Lonely.
